Embrace2 is for adults andchildren (FDA-cleared for ages 6 and up). For use with children under 6, we recommend that you consult your doctor. Embrace is designed to detect possible generalized tonic-clonic seizures lasting longer than 20 seconds. Othernon-convulsive seizure typescurrently cannot be detected by Embrace2.
When Embrace2 detects a possible tonic-clonic seizure, it communicates with its companion app Alert on its paired mobile device to alert your caregivers with a phone call and text message. Embrace2 does not predict seizures. It is designed to expedite assistance when a seizure occurs. To learn more about how Embrace2 works, watch our animated video.
The person wearing Embrace will need two things: a compatible mobile device with a stable internet connection and the Alert App with an active subscription plan. Remember, the person wearing Embrace2 needs the connected mobile device within a 30ft radius at all times, but alerts can be sent to caregivers at any location.
